Vintage 1940s solid sterling silver thistle earrings with screwbacks. They are not hallmarked. The thistle is a Scottish icon, but we don't know where they were made without a mark. They measure 7/8" by 3/4". They appear to have a rhodium coating to prevent tarnish. Weight: 12 grams.
