Wonderful Brighton bag from the early days of this company.
Brighton started in the City of Industry in 1991. They first made belts and did private labeled Western Belts for Justin.
This is one of their first bags. Western themed it has three silver conchos on each side and silver Western Ranger style buckle on the strap and the clasp. Under the buckle is a magnetic closure. These buckles are the same as buckles found on their early belts and they are heavy. When the purse is not full the buckle on the closure strap wants to fall forward. When the purse is loaded, it lays flat.
Very well made. Flap is lined and the creed is on the flap. Interior is suede. I believe that this is the first version of this bag. Serial number on the creed. It also has the hanging Brighton heart.
Bag measures 10" wide, 9" tall and 3 1/2" deep. Strap is 40" long. It has a deep pocket on the back and a zippered pocket inside. The hardware is dated 1992 in several places. There is tarnish and scratches on the hardware. Very good quality leather. Has been conditioned. Non-smoking home.
