1930s Navajo Sterling Silver and Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace

Awesome old 1930s (Fred Harvey Era) Navajo sterling silver squash blossom necklace. It is strung on original string that appears to be flax twine. The hogan beads are very early with primitive solders and holes that are punched from the inside out.

The Naja is set with three pale blue turquoise stones. There are 18 old style blossoms that are set with matching turquoise. The necklace is dowble strand and the two strands are joined through the Naja bail at center front. It causes the blossoms closest to the Naja to very slightly rotate up.

Measures 20" long. 70.5 grams. Tarnished. No hallmarks. Acid tested.
