Chunky Turquoise Sterling Silver Bird Fetish Naja Necklace

Vintage hand strung Southwestern (Navajo) style necklace. It is strung with hand soldered bench beads in sterling silver, brown heishi, white shell, turquoise nuggets and hand drilled disk beads and 4 solid sterling silver bird fetishes with turquoise inlay wings on both sides.

The naja is solid tufa stone cast sterling silver. Has an old style clasp. The jump ring appears to be no longer soldered and should be soldered closed again.

Necklace is 20" long. The Naja measures 2" by 2 1/8". Weight: 77.7 grams. Much of the silver is tarnished, except the Naja which I believe may have a higher silver content than 925 sterling.

Turquoise appears to be all natural. The colors and textures are vibrant! No hallmarks. Acid tested. One of a kind!
