Dendritic White Buffalo Turquoise Pendant in Abstract Design

Vintage signed Navajo sterling silver pendant in an abstract design, Mid-Century style.

It is set with a dendritic White Buffalo turquoise stone that may have been mined before White Buffalo was called "White Buffalo" The only true white turquoise was discovered at the Dry Creek mine which was known for its very, very light blue turquoise. WB was officially marketed in 1993, but this piece screams 1970s. I did test this stone to make sure that it is not a white agate and it is not.

It is hallmarked on the back with a partial Navajo mark STAN and sterling.

Measures 1 1/2" long by 1 1/4" wide. Weight: 12.2 grams. Very rare stone.

Buying Vintage is Sustainable

Thank you for considering used items. When you reuse, recycle and reinvent old things, you are preventing new ones from being made. When you wear vintage you not only prevent new ones from being made, you are creating a fashion look and style all of your own. You are also helping my small business and my family as well as the families of those who are always scouting out great finds for me. For that, we all THANK YOU! ❤️
