Early Mexican sterling silver beaded necklace. It is string with handmade silver "pearls" that were made in halves. The holes were punched by hand from the inside out and then the halves were soldered together. The diameter of the beads graduates from 5.5 mm to 11.8 mm. It is 15" long; choker length. They Have been restring with fishing line that is hand knotted at the clasp. Said fishing line is misshapen from being in a jewelry box. You may want to restring them as it will not devalue the and they will lay on the neck better. Weight: 12.4 grams. Stamped sterling. C. 1930. Some tarnish.
