Early Navajo Chrysocolla Bracelet in Sterling Silver
Early ingot-style wrought sterling silver cuff bracelet set with a bright chrysocolla stone. The stone appears to be cracked, but upon inspection with a jeweler's loupe they are natural matrix lines with a slight depression. This stone was not stabilized or filled.
The cuff has fantastic flow lines inside. The terminals are are hand stamp decorated. There are double bars on each side of the stone that are knife edge stamped.
Interior measures 5 1/2" plus the opening of 1 3/4". It is somewhat adjustable. Marked sterling in block letter stamping.
Measures 1 3/4" wide. Weight: 50 grams. Very fine piece. C. 1930.
