Hand Made Taxco Sterling Silver Pearl Beads Necklace

Vintage hand soldered sterling silver beaded necklace known as "Silver Pearls". These were made in Taxco, Mexico before 1971. Each bead was made in halves and the holes were hand punched from the inside out and then the halves were soldered together. This is the earliest style of bead dating these to the 1950s.

They are on a chain that is not sterling and has some rusty spots. The clasp is well hallmarked including a number 3 eagle stamp. There may be a few dented beads. 

It is 15" long and the shortest in the stack pictured below. 

Weight: 12.2 grams. Very tarnished.
