Sterling Silver Necklace Pearls Bead Mexican Taxco
This is a wonderful estate fresh necklace that is often called "silver pearls".
It was made in Taxco, Mexico in the 1960s. It is not hallmarked.
The beads are hand soldered and you can see the solder line on each bead in the close up photos.
Beads are large, measuring 1/2" (15mm) in diameter. They are hollow but have thick walls so there are no dents or splits.
Strung on chain.
There is a 1" gap of chain with no beads in the back of the necklace from the weight of the beads stretching the chain slightly over time.
Has a slide locking clasp.
Weighs 144 grams.
Necklace is 28" long.
They have not been cleaned or polished to preserve the original patina and value as vintage.
