Mid-Century Brutalist Cage Necklace in Sterling Silver and Turquoise

From the Frank Gingerich estate is this outstanding Mid-Century Brutalist cage necklace. Frank rode a Harley and was a member of the Hell's Angels. His turquoise collection is awesome and this piece is no exception. It has 10 hand formed cages with large green turquoise nuggets inside of each one. The design of the cages looks like barbed wire. The chain between each cage is hand wrought and soldered. The hook-style clasp is hand wrought as well and is simply stamped 925. The style of the stamp looks like a Mexican font. It is 34" long. The cages are 2 3/8" long by 5/8" wide. Silver has patina. Very fine example of Brutalist style and badass enough for a Hell's Angel to wear.
