Rustic and Colorful Hawaiian and Cone Shell Necklace 18" long

This rustic necklace is C. 1970s. It is strung with Hawaiian puka shells and cone shells. Some of the shells are totally natural and some have been chipped to a saucer shape. Some have natural holes and some have been drilled. It's a marriage of good and not as good, but it has a very rustic look that I find appealing.

It is 18" long. Shells had diameters in the rang of 7.3mm  to 10 mm. Weight: 48 grams. On original fishing line with original tarnished brass barrel clasp.

I have a strand like this in my own collection as it helps tell the story of the puka shell.
