Signed Navajo Double Stone Turquoise Cuff Bracelet in Sterling Silver
This one is a rare find! This double turquoise stone cuff bracelet was made and hallmarked by Navajo artist Kay Begay Rodgers, the daughter of the famous Kenneth Begay.
The cuff is formed with hand pulled wire and stamp decorated appliqué. The two large turquoise stones are set in plain bezels and have simple appliqué rings. Stones are specimens from the same mine. They are stabilized and the darker one has a stable hairline crack that was there when the stone was set.
Stones are about 1 1/2" long. The oval plaque measures 2 1/2" long by 2 1/8" wide. Hallmarked on the back. No metal purity mark. Acid tested sterling. Tarnished and has a warm patina.
Weight: 70 grams. Interior measurement is 4 5/8" plus the opening of 1 5/8". For a smaller sized wrist. Has a somewhat shallow opening.
