Vintage Mexican 980 Fine Sterling Silver & Amethyst William Spratling Style Friendship Brooch

Vintage Mexican hand wrought fine 980 silver brooch that was made in Taxco, Mexico.
Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 3/8" wide.
It weighs 21.7 grams.
Pin is a little bent and it has a locking clasp.
If you shake it the two tulips will rattle in the setting a bit. The dark one more than the light colored one. I am sure that a jeweler cold tighten the prongs.
The silver has tarnish and I have not cleaned or polished it to preserve the original patina and value as a truly vintage piece.
This is a classic William Spratling design, but I can only attribute it as it is part of a set and only marked 980 Taxco. As a result I am saying that it is inspired by Spratling, but no proof that it is.
It did come from an estate and has a matching bracelet and necklace that will be listed separately.
It is in the friendship design with a hand holding a tulip flower that are hand carved of genuine purple amethyst. The amethyst has nice color and many inclusions. Looking at the back it looks like it had a crack that may have been glued at one time. This is the large piece of two that I have listed.
