Vintage Navajo sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet. It is set with a large blue turquoise stone that has black chert matrix in a mottled pattern. The stone itself measures 40mm by 45mm.
The interior of the cuff measures 5 1/8" plus the opening of 1". It is pretty stiff and not adjustable. It is 2 3/8" wide. Weight: 85.5 grams. Hallmarked B.B. and J.T.T.P. with and electric engraver. The B.B. may be an early Bobby Begay mark.
Stone is set in a scalloped bezel with reeded tube applique and a rolled edge that is knife edge stamped. The cuff is formed of hand pulled wire that has two bars on each side. One has double feathers and the other looks like wings. Together they suggest the dragonfly. Terminals has strong bars. Well made piece that is sturdy and strong to carry this big hunk of rock.
