Rare vintage Navajo footed box. Solid sterling silver that is stamp decorated on all surfaces except the bottom. The lid in hinged with hand made hinges. It is set with a very fine Bisbee Turquoise stone that has matrix that almost looks like jet. Very special piece. It measures 18 mm square. Round feet on the bottom.
Box measures 4 1/2" by 2 7/8" and is 20 mm deep. Weight: 163 grams. No hallmarks. Lovely original patina. From a private collection.
