Fine vintage Zuni made animal fetish or totem necklace. This is a triple strand necklace with 24 carved animals. The heishi beads are turquoise mixed with brown heishi. bead are 2.6mm in diameter. The hand carved animals are of semi-precious various gemstones such as jasper, alabaster and jet. Eyes are drilled and painted.
This piece has sterling cones, clasp and a tag from Running Bear.
Lengths are 16: 19” and 22” plus it has a sterling extender chain that is 3 1/2” long. Longest strand Measures 30” long. Weight: 58.2 grams. Animals are carved well and have a smooth surface.
