This is the best storyteller piece that I have ever seen! It is by Robert Becenti Jr, Navajo. It was executed with the overlay technique in solid sterling silver.
This design is the Navajo answer to the classic Mexican leaning up against a cactus taking a nap. This is a Navajo man leaning up against a pinyon pine having a beer! I love this!
The slide measures 3" by 2 1/8". The stips are sterling and hogan ends. One is bent a little and I am hesitant to bend it back, so I left in as is. The black leather tie has a flat comfort fit back of the neck. 44" long. Weight: 59.6. Hallmarked on the back.
