Wonderful vintage Hawaiian puka shell choker necklace. The necklace has 100% natural puka shells that are rustic and average 3/8” to almost 1/2”diameter. The shapes of the shells are round to oblong and the way they are strung gives it a rustic style. It is on nylon and has its original grungy brass clasp. The clasp does stick so be sure that you push it all the way closed to wear. (I prefer to leave these original)
These shells have natural holes, great wear from the ocean and sand and are bleached white by the sun. They have not been polished and have an eggshell surface.
