Vintage Black Leather Backpack GABAHN of New York City

Vintage black leather backpack by GABAHN of New York City. This bag is of thick, fine leather and reminds me of an early Coach bag, but actually has better construction if you can imagine that. It is 11” tall by 8 1/2” wide and 4 1/2” deep at the base. Flap has magnetic snap. The opening is hinged and reinforced with leather covered metal straps. One metal zipper inside on a single small pocket. Straps are 31 1/2” long. They have bright brass buckles and are adjustable. Hinge at opening is tarnished. No lining. Interior is suede backside of the leather. Excellent condition. Information on line suggests that this is C. 1980.
