A couple of days ago, I sold out of Vintage Hawaiian Puka Shell necklaces. This weekend, my daughter and I drove from Ocean Beach to Huntington Beach in search of good and real vintage puka shells. One has to frequent the surfer towns to find the good ones. 

Since the weather is in the low 100s, it was a perfect time weather-wise to be near the ocean. Tourist and traffic issues were another thing. Finding parking on the weekend in any Southern California beach town is a challenge. 

I am happy to report that we had success! We came home with 8 necklaces and one anklet. I will clean them up tomorrow after all of the Make an Offer Night orders are packed. I hope to start getting them up on the website tomorrow night.
