Antique 19th C. Cameo Brooch. The setting is bookchain style and I believe that it is pinchbeck and not gold filled. Tube hinge and locking clasp.
Cameo is Italian and hand carved. Nice Roman nose and great detain in the hair. Harder to find left facing cameo.
Measures 2" by 1 3/4". Weight: 11.6 grams. No hallmarks.
