Early Navajo sterling silver pierced post stud earrings. Each is set with a silver framed snake eye turquoise stone that is framed in silver. The flower or wreath shaped drops are set with matching snake eye turquoise in frames. They have a diameter of 3/4" Earrings measure 1 1/8" long. Weight: 2.7 grams. 

🦋 Note: These have been left in original patina. This means that they are tarnished, may have crusty old silver polish, verdi gris and general grunge. My sophisticated collectors sternly request that I do not polish or clean these early pieces leaving the patina as found. I agree with them. Once you clean away the patina, you cannot put it back.

However, if you like them shiny and new, you can clean them with a soft toothbrush and a little water keeping in mind that the stones are usually not glued in place and if so it was done with tree pitch and not modern glue, so clean with care. They will polish up, but take care to not remove all of the patina.
