Vintage 1970s handmade burl wood clock. If you look closely on the lower side of the the clock-each side you'll see a hand painted hummingbirds. It measures 9 1/2" tall. the base is 13" by 5 1/2". Clock is 11 1/2" wide. The clock is loose and will spin inthe frame. It does work. I put a battery in it and it started ticking away. I had to adjust the hands as they got stuck on each other, but it has been on my desk for 6 hours now and it is keeping perfect time. Takes one AA battery. Not sure what kind of wood it is.
