It's my Anni-Birthday!

In a just a few days, I will be celebrating my birthday. I'm not telling how old because, girls just don't tell. But, it's also the anniversary of my on-line business.

I am celebrating 17 year selling on line! 

17 years ago I was about to have my first and only baby, my daughter. I was on bed rest and had my first computer, a Gateway laptop. I also a house full of antiques and a inventory from a brick and mortar shop boxed up in the garage.

 

My friend, Linda Stoddard Johnson of Beardeaux Bears came over to visit and said "I want to show you something." She typed the word "eBay.com" into my browser and my life changed that day.

I built my first eBay store "Shopfox" and then my second which was to be the beginning of "Yourgreatfinds". Ebay got me through a divorce, enabled me to stay home, make a living and raise my daughter. It enabled me to buy my first home and my second home. I was flown by eBay headquarters for a meeting called "Voices" and I was featured in "Redbook" magazine as the single mom who makes a living on eBay.

 

Here it is 17 years later, and that little baby that was born a few months after I learned about eBay, is now a senior in high school and in the process of choosing a college to attend. 

I no longer work my eBay store as I have moved on to my yourgreatfinds.net website, Etsy and One Kings Lane. I am so thankful for e-commerce for I have able to make a living on line and stay home to raise my only child. I love what I do. I love every piece that I find. I hand-pick every item that I offer for sale just for you.
