Wonderful vintage Hawaiian puka shell necklace.  The necklace has 100% natural puka shells that are well matched and all In the 8.7 mm range in diameter. (Measured with caliper) It is on original nylon beading line and has original gold tone barrel clasp.

These shells have natural holes, great wear from the ocean and sand and are bleached white by the sun. Surface has a high polish.

Necklace is 17 1/2" long which is a harder to find length as they usually 14" to 16" long. Weight: 49.3 grams. Fine, collectible and valuable necklace.
