Vintage Navajo sterling silver concho belt in black leather. It has a buckle and 22 conchos! All are hand stamp decorated. Leather is 47 1/2” long and 1/2” wide. It has two holes punched in it.
Buckle measures 2” by 1 5/8”. Conchos are 1 1/4” by a little over 3/4”.
It is highly likely that all of these conchos were hammered from coins as the edges are reeded. I cannot tell if Mexican coins or American. If American they would be 900 silver and not 925, but they acid test sterling silver.
Total weight of the belt: 105.5 grams.
A rare find. Nice and long for an ample waist.
