Vintage solid sterling silver poncho belt by Navajo artist Vincent J. Platero. The rectangular conchos have 4 different Navajo rug designs and the buckle is a butterfly. The designs were executed with the overlay technique and are perfectly done. 

The belt is 32 1/2" long. Buckle is hallmarked twice and measures 3" by 1 3/8".Conchos measure 1 1/2" by 3/4". Weight:  139 grams. Silver is solid and has tarnish that will polish off. 

Note: It looks gold in some of the photos. It is not. This belt is silver, pure sterling silver.
