Old Navajo sterling silver ring. It is set with pale blue turquoise that has chert dark gray matrix. I believe that this turquoise may be from the Dry Creek Mine. The stone has a natural crack that is stable. I would never change out the stone as this is a rare one.
The stone is set in a plain bezel and has a twisted wire rope frame. There are skipwork fans on each side that cover the cold chisel split shank. Size 11. Face is almost 3/4” long. Weight: 6.6 grams. The silver has original gunmetal patina (tarnish). No hallmarks. Fred Harvey era.
Thank you for considering used items. When you reuse, recycle and reinvent old things, you are preventing new ones from being made. When you wear vintage you not only prevent new ones from being made, you are creating a fashion look and style all of your own. You are also helping my small business and my family as well as the families of those who are always scouting out great finds for me. For that, we all THANK YOU! ❤️
