Large vintage 1970s Hawaiian puka shell necklace.
These shells are the cone shell that became what we know as pukas once they spend time being tumbled by the ocean, sand and bleached by the sun.
These still have color, but have a high shine. They are graduated from 8.3 mm to 19 mm in diameter. 17” long and has original barrel clasp. Weight 110 grams.
