Vintage high grade American turquoise necklace with a pendant that serves as a pin as well. 

This turquoise is bi-colored and likely from Arizona as it is so blue. It photographed a bit darker than it is in person. It has matrix and if you looks closely you will se copper deposits in the matrix. Several copper mines produced stones like this including Kingman, Morenci and Bisbee. I am not 100% certain which mine produced this stone. 

The pendant measures 1 1/16” by 1”. Nice applied feather and raindrop. 

It has a hook-style bail on the back and a pin with locking clasp. The pin serves as a safety to keep the chain from slipping off. 

Chain is sterling as well and measures 19” long. Weight: 18.1 grams.
