Huge vintage handmade sterling silver ring. It is set with a stunning bi-colored stone that has maroon colored matrix. Stone measures almost 1 1/2" by 15/16". The stone is set in a strong plain bezel. The shank is hand hammered and wide enough to support the face of the ring. The shank attaches to the back of the ring in a "D" shape so it is hard to size it on a mandrel. It is approximately a size 6 3/4. 

Weight: 23.3 grams. Marked sterling and with a conjoined JP with a diamond under the P. I am not sure whoes mark this is and if it is Native American.
