Vintage Navajo sterling silver horseshoe ring set with a Sleeping Beauty Mine turquoise stone. The shank is hand pulled wire and clod chisel splits. The open end of the horseshoe is not soldered closed. The ends are filed and finished making it look like something broke off, but it did not. The shank is placed centrally, it is perfectly balanced. The artist just did not run some solder along the seam as I would have. 

Size 9 Dace measures 21mm in diameter. Weight: 8.1 grams.
