Vintage Navajo made sterling silver Thunderbird necklace. This is a different form of Thunderbird/eagle than you typically see. This piece was constructed with the overlay technique and some of the design was filled with Shiprock mosaic in turquoise and red. The feather work on it wings is just gorgeous. It has a wingspan of 2 5/8 and the bird is almost one and a half inches tall. Necklace is 20 1/2 inches long. Wait is 20.7 g Eagle has some tarnish very unusual piece.
