Vintage double strand handmade sterling silver “pearls” bead necklace. The beads are graduated from a diameter of 5.7mm to 13.9 mm. They are hand soldered in the center and the holes were punched from the inside out before the bead halves were soldered together. They have some nice rustic edges. 

The clasp looks like a replacement and it is not sterling. It is silver over brass. So, this piece is not marked with metal purity. This is likely an early Mexican necklace and the original clasp was marked and not a locking clasp. I did acid test a couple of the beads and they are sterling.

A couple of the beads have dents, see photos. One is a center bead. Dents are small. Measures 16” and 18 1/2” long. Weight: 51.3 grams.
