Vintage artisan made wooden satchel, crossbody or purse. I am not sure what kind of wood this is. All cracks are filled with turquoise chip mosaic inlay. The lid slides up and down the shoulder strap. 

Exterior measurement is 7 3/8" by 4 1/8". Interior measurement is 5 7/8" BY 1 3/8". It is 3 1/2" tall inside.It is pictured with an iPhoneX inside and it fits perfectly. The width is great for easy removal. iPhoneX measures 5 5/8" long by 2 3/4" wide. Wider is ok (up to 3 1/2"0 , but if your phone is longer than 5 5/8" it will not fit. 

Clasp is a bovine bone slice that is also inlaid with turquoise mosaic. It is magnetic. Suspended with elastic. 

Strap is black cotton roping that measures 45" long,
