Early antique (over 100 years old) Navajo wrought sterling silver ring. This is the kind of ring that was made on an open fire. It is very primitive with an awesome rustic appeal. The American turquoise stone is bicolored and set in a very uneven and worn bezel that comes up high on the stone. There is a touch of brown matrix within this stone. The hand hammered shank has cold chisel splits and messy solders and file marks inside. There are 4 raindrops that were hand made. 

Ring is a size 6.24. It has wear, which adds to the patina. Measures 16mm wide. Weight: 8.5 grams. A rare find!
