Sterling silver appliqué ring by Navajo artist Justin Morris. It is set with two black onyx stoned, both have wear and scratches. Hallmarked inside as Follows: 12k gold fill on sterling, Justin Morris Navajo

What I see is a sterling base with an overlay in some areas in brass that is gold filled. There is much wear to the plating and the brass is showing through. The band has some rough edges where the silver has chipped and slightly separated from the other layers, and is rather thin. 

Size 11 3/4 and the face is 1 1/8" long. Weight: 8.2 grams. 

Price reflects the less than perfect condition.
