Early Navajo, handmade sterling silver squash blossom necklace. The Naja has a turquoise drop at the center and a button at the top with Thunderbird stamped and has a frame of tiny raindrops. 

Naja measures 2 1/2" by 3 inches. Necklace is 26 inches long.

The hogan beads are totally handmade and have holes that were punched from the inside out before they were soldered together. There are 12 blossoms and each stamp decorated and has a smiling face Zia at the center.

This piece has a beautiful patina.

When I purchased this, it had become unstrung and was in a plastic bag. I restrung it exactly the way it was strong originally however it was originally strong on a dental flush type of material that does not last very long and some really stiff awful wire. It is now strung properly. I did leave a little bit of play in the back for the beats to be able to move.
