Mexican Pottery Tlaquepaque Cooking Dish with Handle and Lid

Vintage 1940s handmade Mexican cooking dish with handle and lid. Very rustic. Great marks on the bottom. Made in Tlaquepaque. Hand painted in beige with blue accents and green crane birds. Marked "Mexxico" Love the misspelling! Has some wear on the rim and a couple of chips, one on the lid and one on the rim. Beautiful patina These are getting to be so hard to find. Measures 8 1/2" in diameter, 3 1/2" tall and the handle is 3" long. Will be shipped double boxed.
