Wonderful vintage Hawaiian puka shell necklace.  The necklace has 100% natural puka shells that are rustic and range from 10.4mm to 13.9mm diameter. (Measured with caliper) It is on cable and has original silver tone barrel clasp. Because the shells are so large it was a little hard for me to screw the clasp shut and keep the shells out of my fingers' way. The person who strung them did leave a little space on the beading cable for this reason.

These shells have natural holes, great wear from the ocean and sand and are bleached white by the sun. They have not been polished and have an eggshell surface.

Necklace is 17 1/2" long which is a harder to find length as they usually 14" to 16" long. Weight: 123.9 grams. Fine, collectible and valuable necklace.
