Rare old sterling silver cuff bracelet by Navajo artist Dan Oliver. It has his DO mark on the back. It is formed of four hand pulled cuffs that are joined at the terminal tips and behind the stone. It is stamp decorated with a leather hole punch and a die stamp. The turquoise is natural and I believe that this may be Pilot Mountain mine turquoise. The color is rich and deep. Nice quality. Stone is set in a plain bezel with fine twisted wire rope, applied swirls and large hand dropped raindrops.
The interior measures 5 1/8" plus the opening of 1 1/4". It is 2" wide. Weight: 59.4 grams. Dan produced jewelry for over 40 year and is now longer with us. An interesting little note is that his father, Lloyd Oliver, was Navajo and one of the original 29 code talkers in World War II
Thank you for considering used items. When you reuse, recycle and reinvent old things, you are preventing new ones from being made. When you wear vintage you not only prevent new ones from being made, you are creating a fashion look and style all of your own. You are also helping my small business and my family as well as the families of those who are always scouting out great finds for me. For that, we all THANK YOU! ❤️
