Vintage Navajo sterling silver pendant and chain necklace. The simple settings has rolled edge that suggested a shadowbox with 6 graduated hand formed raindrops.
The stone. This is an exceptional spider web turquoise stone from the No. 8 mine. This mine produced amazing stones until it was closed forever years ago. This one measures 32mm by 10.5mm. The pendant is 1 3/4” long. Those piece is time worn smooth with a beautiful patina.
The chain is original and continuous. (not clasp) It is almost 26” long. Very tarnished. Original patina. Weight: 29.4 grams.
