Vintage Navajo handmade sterling silver sun necklace. The pendant is set with a stunning natural turquoise stone with huge pyrite and quartz inclusions. This stone has attributes of Morenci and Crow Springs mine. Stone measures 1 1/4” by 7/8”. The petals are stamp decorated and each has a hand made raindrop. Said raindrops are irregular in size. It measures 2 3/8” with the bail by 1 7/8”. 

The necklace is chain beaded with early hand soldered bench beads or “hogans”. They are 8.2mm and 11.6mm in diameter. The holes were punched out from the center out before each bead was hand soldered together. Necklace is 24” long. Weight: 83.9 grams. Original patina. One of a king rustic piece!
