1949 Sterling silver cluster brooch by the highly famous and collected Frank Patania Sr. It is fully hallmarked on the back and the mark is his first hallmark. Frank was actually anglo, an immigrant from Italy, but his work is one of the most valuable Navajo work collected. He passed away in 1964.

This piece came from an estate with matching earrings that are on the original Thunderbird shop card with 1949 written on the back. 

This brooch is set with 7 very fine No.8 Mine spider web turquoise stones. They are accented with large raindrops. Locking clasp. Measures 1 7/8" by 1 5/8". Weight: 23.5 grams.
